Falcons lacrosse looks to grow in inaugural season

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Women’s lacrosse team started its inaugural season on Feb. 24 with a 3-15 loss to Sewanee: The University of the South in Minneapolis, Minn. Women’s hockey starting goaltender no longer on team

Per University of Wisconsin-River Fall’s Director of Athletics Crystal Lanning, the UWRF women’s hockey team goaltender Tatyana Delaittre is no longer on the team. Delaittre was no longer on the team according the official UWRF sports website prior to the Falcons 5-1 loss to No. 9 UW-Eau Claire last Saturday at Hunt Arena.

Falcons hockey believes it has national championship caliber team

The UW-River Falls men’s hockey team has started the 2018-2019 season with a record of 3-1-2, a much-improved start compared to the 8-17-4 overall record the team had last season. Last weekend, the Falcons completed their season series with Concordia College at Hunt Arena, defeated the Cobbers on Friday 5-4 before tying them 1-1 on Saturday.

Falcons Football prepare for final game of the regular season

The UW-River Falls Falcons football team will take on the UW-Stevens Point Pointers on Saturday, November 10th at 2 p.m. at David Smith Stadium at Ramer Field in River Falls, Wisconsin. Both the Falcons and the Pointers enter this season-ending Senior Day matchup with an overall record of 3-6 and WIAC conference record of 2-4.
