Student Support Services (SSS) is a program like no other on the campus of UW-River Falls. SSS is offered to students who are first generation low-income students and students with disabilities.

Women's golf ends WIAC meet in seventh
The women’s golf team at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is winding down its season, which has proved to be a challenging one for the squad’s six members. The team just finished the WIAC conference meet in seventh place.

UWRF service helps international students adjust to campus, America
International Student Services, located in Hagestad Hall on the UW-River Falls campus, helps international students deal with living and blending into American culture. The staff helps students’ transition from the initial culture shock that may strike them when coming into the country.

UWRF faculty copes with UW System budget cut
The budget cut that’s going to affect the whole UW System is in full swing this semester. UW-River Falls alone is losing $3.31 million in state support starting this fiscal year.

Two country bands to perform at Finals Fest

Chartwells to replace Sodexo as dining provider
Chartwells, if approved at the April Board of Regents meeting, will take over the dining services at UW-River Falls starting June 1, and new renovations to the University Center would be on the horizon.

Citizens in and around the River Falls community commute to their jobs on a daily basis, and while the task seems easy there are underlying costs that commuters budget into their daily lives.

Online voting for Falcon Center segregated fee wraps up
This week, students at UW-River Falls were able to vote on a proposed segregated fee for the Falcon Center. Each student received an email early Tuesday morning, with a link to FalconSync, where the voting took place. Voting closed at 11:45 p.m. on March 5.

Campus rally expected in protest of UW System budget cuts
Gov. Scott Walker has proposed a $300 million budget cut to the UW System, and that has a number of UW System campuses hosting rallies in protest, and UW-River Falls may be next.
