Barnett found not guilty of both charges

UW-River Falls music professor Thomas W. Barnett has been found not guilty of both charges stemming from an August incident involving a 13-year-old girl at the Hudson Theatre, reports Hudson Patch. A St. Croix County Circuit Court jury acquitted Barnett on Saturday morning. Barnett had been charged with second-degree sexual assault of a minor and false imprisonment. He had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
