“Sowing a few seeds, making a big difference.” This is the motto of the business Plantables. Plantables produces paper products embedded with seeds of various garden plants.

WRFW raises funds for foster care
With 500,000 children enrolled in the United States’ foster care system, there are no shortage of those foster children that need aid. Together We Rise (TWR), a nonprofit organization, has the goal of helping kids in foster care around the country.

Professor writes screenplay for short film
Assistant Professor of English and faculty advisor to the UW-River Falls student literary magazine “Prologue” Joseph Rein has recently acquired an interesting accolade. Rein’s screenplay, “15 Minutes with Jacob,” was made into a short film this year.

Frontage road construction begins
As of Sept. 11, UW-River Falls’ students were made aware of the construction on the frontage road from Crabtree Hall to the entrance of O-Lot.
