For cross-country star and team members, focus now turns to track

After the UW-River Falls cross-country team had its first-ever qualifier for the national tournament, Julian Manley, all eyes now move to the track and field team to see if he can pull it off again.

UWRF women's basketball tops WIAC with six-game winning streak

The UW-River Falls women’s basketball team is on a six-game win streak, and has gone undefeated so far this season. Although conference play has not started, UW-River Falls tops all other teams around the WIAC, including the favored UW-Oshkosh, which is currently 4-0.

UWRF flag football teams end season with championship games

The UW-River Falls intramural program saw two championship flag football games played on Monday, Oct. 19, at Ramer Field. The first game of the night had a showdown between the co-rec (men and women players) teams Mean Machine and Big Sacks. The teams were both 5-1 in the season, but in the end Big Sacks won the title in a 10-9 victory.

New UWRF tennis coach focuses on recruiting, improving basic skills

The UW-River Falls women’s tennis team has a new coach this season who has brought change to the squad. Dan Stumpf was hired in early August when former coach Michele Bailey resigned in late June after two seasons with the Falcons, according to UWRFSports.com.
