Commuting from home can save money
Commuting to and from River Falls can be a hassle, but it can also be something that can be very beneficial. Freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus in the dormitories or the suites at UW-River Falls. Upperclassmen can live wherever they like, some live on campus and some in River Falls and there are others who commute.

Campus radio station to host end of year bash
Despite taking budget hits, the campus radio station, 88.7 FM WRFW, will be hosting its annual "Can't Stop the Music" event on May 4 in the University Center with plans to make it one of the biggest ever in organization history.

Men's track and field has successful meet at Hamline University
Junior sprinter David Paynotta continued his impressive track and field career as he was a part of three first-place finishes during the last Saturday’s event: the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 4x100-meter dash.

Softball team looking for a 2015 turnaround

Women's basketball team hopes for record crowd against UW-Whitewater
Last September, the Student Voice wrote a story about UW-River Falls women's basketball Assistant Coach Mike Babler's grandson, Leo, and his fight against an extremely rare genetic disorder called Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP), which is a form of dwarfism and is said to be a lethal form of skeletal dysplasia.
