Falcon passing record not enough

Despite losing both of their first two games, UW-River Falls head football coach Matt Walker and true freshman quarterback Ryan Kusilek said that the Falcons are anxious to show what they can do heading into conference play.

Ponick excels for track and field

UW-River Falls track and field senior Becky Ponick has come a long way since having shoulder surgery during her sophomore year of college. She currently owns the fourth best mark in all of Division III in her main event, the javelin throw.

Cascade project breaks new ground

The Cascade Avenue project is underway and it will bring a lot of changes to the street, both functionally and aesthetically. One of the main benefits of the project is to replace failed and outdated infrastructure according to River Falls Director of Public Works and City Engineer Reid Wronski.

Men’s basketball faces critical upcoming games

The UW-River Falls men’s basketball team faces a critical stretch of upcoming games beginning with a 5 p.m. tilt at UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 4. The Falcons are currently in a three-way tie for first place in the WIAC with UW-Whitewater and UW-Stevens Point, according to wiacsports.com.
