David Rodli Hall open house invites public
On Feb. 3, UW-River Falls celebrated the opening of David Rodli Hall. The university recently finished its $15.9 million renovations, turning the former campus dining hall into the campus’ Student Success Center. Since 2007 the building had been used for both storage and classes, but is now home to 14 departments.

Gov. Evers signs assembly bill
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers visited the UW-River Falls campus in the University Center the morning of Nov. 22. There was a Press Conference for the official signing of Assembly Bill 168 alongside members of the Legislature and disability rights advocates.

UW-River Falls hosts third annual Freeze Fest
Freeze Fest is coming to the UW-River Falls campus the evening of December 3. This is the third consecutive year Student Involvement, Residence Hall Association, and Campus Recreation has come together to put on a night of students getting together outside of the classroom.

Special Olympics hosts fourth annual Run with the Cops
A rainy Tuesday night didn’t stop the River Falls community from coming out to Raimer Field. This was the fourth year River Falls has held Run with the Cops, an event hosted by the Special Olympics, and it has only become more successful each year.

Career Fair prepares students for internships and jobs
The 2019 Career Fair, hosted on Oct. 8 and 9, was held in the University Center’s River View Ballroom. Around 151 employers and about 1,242 students attending. The event allowed students and employers to connect, conduct interviews, and discuss future career opportunities.

UWRF career fair turns into a two-day event
Previously a one-day event, this year's Career Fair has expanded to two days in the University Center’s Riverview Ballroom. On Oct. 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., students will be exposed to over 130 organizations that are seeking to potentially employ them before they graduate.
