Lab at UWRF approaches 20 years of studying cancer
Nestled away in the corner of the fourth floor of the Agricultural Science Building at UW-River Falls is the office of Professor Timothy Lyden. Lyden, who teaches anatomy in the Biology Department, first started teaching at UWRF in 2001 after spending time at Ohio State University and Wright University.

Falcons lacrosse looks to grow in inaugural season
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Women’s lacrosse team started its inaugural season on Feb. 24 with a 3-15 loss to Sewanee: The University of the South in Minneapolis, Minn. Since then, the team is riding a two-game winning streak with victories over Concordia University and Elmhurst College.

Women’s hockey starting goaltender no longer on team
Per University of Wisconsin-River Fall’s Director of Athletics Crystal Lanning, the UWRF women’s hockey team goaltender Tatyana Delaittre is no longer on the team. Delaittre was no longer on the team according the official UWRF sports website prior to the Falcons 5-1 loss to No. 9 UW-Eau Claire last Saturday at Hunt Arena.
