Campus recycling systems explained

Recycling and trash bins in the basements were phased out because of health and safety reasons. Building custodians and recycling representatives lugged the heavy bins up the stairs outside of the halls, which tend to become slippery with ice during winter

As some of you know (those who read the student e-mails) and hopefully more now, UW-River Falls is involved in a nationwide competition with other colleges and universities across the United States called Recyclemania.
