Residence hall energy contest reduces consumption
UW-River Falls is taking sustainability initiative with an energy conservation contest to reduce consumption in the residence halls. The winning hall for each category receives a $250 prize.

Enrollment increase causes crowding
For the past three years, overcrowding in the residence halls has been an ongoing problem. There are approximately 200 overflow spaces that were converted into rooms for students, and 130 students are still assigned to them.

Coach O'Grady gets inducted into Hall of Fame
UW-River Falls head football coach John O'Grady was inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame on April 5, 2008.

KFA ventilation replacement causes class, office relocation
Summer classes that were supposed to be held in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building will be relocated due to work being done in the building to replace the ventilation system. Offices in KFA will be moved to the former Textbook Services location in the Chalmer Davee Library.
