After CAS budget crisis, students and faculty must still work with respect
As all of you know at this point, UW-River Falls is facing harsh budget cuts that are putting the quality of education at the university at risk. The College of Arts and Sciences at UWRF is especially feeling the pain, facing a $1.5 million cut.

UWRF seniors hold art thesis exhibition
University of Wisconsin-River Falls seniors Jeremy Nordin-Berghuis, Taylor Moeller-Roy, Zachariah Jacobs and Hollie Garry will present their bachelor degree art thesis exhibitions in Gallery 101 in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building April 4-11. On display will be fibers, ceramic, photography and glass art works.

UWRF students move on to Collegiate DECA International Conference
For the first time, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls new DECA chapter competed at the Collegiate DECA State Career Development Conference, sending 14 DECA student members to Madison for the March 3-6 competition.

Falcons fall in national title game; cap season with runner-up finish
The UW-River Falls women’s hockey team battled two-time defending national champion SUNY Plattsburgh Saturday in the NCAA National Championship game. The Falcons took an early 1-0 lead over the host Cardinals before Plattsburgh scored five unanswered goals to take home the national title with a 5-1 victory on their home ice.

UWRF to participate in prestigious American Craft Council St. Paul Show
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Art Department was hand-selected by the American Craft Council (ACC) for their excellence in fine arts and crafts education and will be the only college/university represented at the ACC St. Paul Show April 7-10.
