Jubilee engages young pupils with agriculture
The annual Farm Day Jubilee brings in more than 800 elementary students to the UW-River Falls campus every spring. This year’s Farm Day Jubilee will be held Friday, April 20.

Ag. Technology Contest draws high school students to UWRF
The 2007 Agricultural Technology Contest brings around 1,000 high school students to the University to participate in various events. The contest rules and regulations are set by the Future Farmers of America. The event is going to be held Saturday, March 31.

Graduating with honors takes time
Some seniors are confused about the actual calculations of their grade point average when it comes to participating in the commencement ceremony. The ceremony is sometimes held the weekend before finals week, but this semester it is held the weekend after finals.

Dairy Learning Center set to open in fall
With River Falls having a mild winter this year, the University is making steady progress on the new Dairy Learning Center. The center is projected to open fall of 2007. Original plans for the center indicated that the facility would not be open until fall of 2008, but warmer temperatures have allowed work to advance ahead of schedule.
