Falcons Softball ended their WIAC season on a high note, dropping the Pioneers from UW-Platteville 11-0 and 10-5 in a doubleheader Saturday, April 30.

Falcon football works hard in off-season

The Falcons have been practicing at Ramer Field three times a week for the entire month of April. Division III allows sixteen practices over five months in the offseason, but UWRF is only trying to get in twelve practices before finals week and when academics take precedent.

UWRF softball honors new field with a win against UW-Eau Claire

The Falcons opened up their new softball field with an impressive performance Wednesday, April 13, dropping the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds 7-1 in the first game of their doubleheader and tied 3-3 with a finish to be announced later in their second match-up.

UWRF softball to start conference games after challenging pre-season experiences

After an up and down start to the season and a successful Florida trip, the Falcons traveled to St. Kates University to avenge an earlier 8-0 loss in the season opener. UWRF looked like an entirely different team in this meeting, stretching the undefeated Wildcats to 13 innings before they fell 7-6.

UWRF women's hockey team ends season with loss in NCAA Division III National Championship Game

The Falcons Women’s Hockey team capped off a memorable winter by achieving its greatest season to date. The Falcons fell 5-1 in the NCAA Division III National Championship Game to Plattsburgh State a few weeks ago, securing second place in the country. This comes on the heels of two third place finishes in the NCAA tournament in 2014 and 2015.

The UWRF women's basketball team advanced as far in the NCAA tournament as they ever have in the program’s history, but ultimately fell to St. Thomas 46-67 Saturday night at the Karges Center.

The Falcons women's basketball team came up clutch in the biggest game of the season, taking down the UW-Oshkosh Titans 63-56 to capture their first regular season WIAC title in 27 years.

UWRF women's basketball beat UW-Stevens Point 77-67

The Falcons women's basketball team took down UW-Stevens Point Pointers 77-67 in a thrilling comeback on Saturday afternoon. The clash of two top-25 ranked teams, with the Falcons at 18 and the Pointers at 16 in the nation squared off to determine who would hold sole possession of second place in the WIAC.
