Walk in like you own the place, walk out like you've never seen it before
In the spring of 2004, my family took a trip to Orlando, Florida, with my cousins. Recently, I was reminded of this trip and more specifically, something I said during that trip. In 2004, I was a third grader who picked up words and phrases and repeated them, trying to sound smart or cool and often times not knowing what they even meant.

Smartphone addition creates anti-social campus
The other day I was eating breakfast in an emptier side of the Riverside Commons when I witnessed a sight that has become all too familiar. A few minutes after I had sat down, two men filled the table next to me. After a brief minute of small talk between the two of them, the two quickly buried their heads into their smart phones and said very little to each other for the rest of their breakfast.
