UWRF's Midnight Mayhem hosts games and activities
February 17, 2025
The UW-River Falls held its annual Midnight Mayhem event on Jan. 31 as part of its Week of Welcome festivities. From 8 p.m. to midnight, the event transformed the University Center into a variety of activities and games for students.
Several inflatable attractions were set up in the University Center Ballroom, including a mechanized shark that students attempted to ride without being thrown off. Trivia, themed after the university and its recent 150th anniversary, was held in the Involvement Center from 8 to 9 p.m. Also in the Involvement Center was a massive chess set. The Falcon’s Nest held a glow roller rink, with music, strobe lights, a disco ball, and roller skates for participants.
Free food was available as well: tacos, mashed potatoes, and some desserts. Later on the event, from 11 p.m. to midnight, bingo was held on the lower level of the University Center, in Pete’s Creek. Giveaways were also held by UWRF’s Student Involvement.
