The Wyman Series at UW-River Falls presents: Carnaval Brasileiro

The Wyman Series at UW-River Falls will present Carnaval Brasileiro (Brazilian Carnival) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, in the Falcon’s Nest at the University Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Brazilian “Carnaval” (car-nah-VOW), the biggest celebration in the world, features a 10-piece band, Beira Mar Brasil, complete with horn section and hand percussion. The event features Brazilian music, food, dancing and art.

Prior to the performance, a drumming workshop will be offered at 4 p.m. in the University Center. The workshop is free and open to the public.
