UW-River Falls to host first Bachelor of Fine Arts graphic design exhibition

The first three Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) graphic design graduates of UW-River Falls will present their BFA degree exhibition, “#winspiration,” at the Ames Gallery in the University Center (UC) Oct. 11–28.
Tarah Benson, Nicole Moscowitz and Pakou Mua are all from Minneapolis suburbs. Both Benson and Mua are pursuing a secondary emphasis in photography, while Moscowitz is pursuing a secondary emphasis in glass with a second major in marketing communications. Their senior show will focus on commercial art including branding, advertising, skateboard graphics and package design.
A reception for the artists is set from 5-7 p.m., Oct. 18, on the third floor of the University Center. The Ames Gallery is open during regular University Center hours from 7 a.m. to midnight on Sunday-Friday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday from.
