Students are encouraged to register early

Over the next few weeks, students should see Voter Registration tables operational in the University Center. As President of Student Senate, I strongly urge the student population to get registered early so that they may quickly and expediently go through the voting process Nov. 2.

Voting is an essential part of an American’s civic duty, and because students do not have the time or energy to expend in extraneous lines, it is in the students’ best interest to register early so they can go to the polls, cast their vote and get on with their daily lives.

So please register early.
