Gallery 101 opens with alumni exhibition

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Art Department opens the fall Gallery 101 exhibition season with the “UWRF Alumni Exhibition” Sept. 3-24. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Included in the exhibition is work from Bachelor of Fine Arts alumni Kari Klocke (‘04), Joe Singewald (‘03), and Jill Van Sickle (‘02). These three artists have developed successful careers in art that involve commissions, gallery representation, regional and national exhibitions, and teaching careers. Media represented will be ceramics, drawings, paintings, and prints. The artists will be present to discuss their work at an opening reception on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 4-5:30 p.m.
Gallery 101 is located in Kleinpell Fine Arts building at 420 E. Cascade Avenue. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday- Friday; and 2-4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, contact the Art Department at 715-425-3266.
